Getting Here

Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) is the closest major airport to Bergama. Once you are out from this airport, the best and more interesting means of transport to get from the airport to Bergama is taking the İZBAN (sub-urban train) directly from the train station at the airport. You will then travel north by train stopping finally at Aliağa. The buses and minibuses are very modern, very clean, and very cheap trains so that from here you can catch the very frequent ESHOT Bus (No. 835) for the final 30-40 minutes of the journey to the Bergama bus terminal (otogar). At Aliağa train station, simply walk out of the station into a bus and minibus terminal right next door, where you get buses and minibuses for about a 30-40 min ride to Bergama bus terminal (otogar).

It is a 15-minute walk or a very short inexpensive taxi ride from the Bergama otogar to the hotel. It is also possible to take a private transfer or rental car from Izmir Airport –the place is 1.5 to 2 hours away. If you’re driving, the hotel address is in the narrow, one-way streets of the Old Town. Best use a GPS, and be prepared to park in a nearby street, which the host will happily help you with.
